Welcome to bshin.com - a placeholder website for Brian Shin, founder and CEO of Visible Measures Corp. (VMC) - an Internet startup based in Boston, MA focused on internet video metrics and measurement and backed by General Catalyst Partners and Mohr Davidow Ventures.

Before VMC, Brian was founder and President of Infraweb, Inc, a profitable technology strategy consulting firm, VP Technology for Medsite (sold to WebMD, Nasdaq: WBMD), co-founder of Creative Aspects (sold to Medsite), co-founder of Cambridge Intelligence (sold to MSGi, Nasdaq: MSGI), and an early member of the team at Allaire Corp. (IPO, sold to Macromedia).

Brian earned his MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management as a part of the dual-degree Harvard-MIT Biomedical Enterprise Program between MIT, MIT Sloan, and Harvard, and his bachelors in Biology from Tufts University. While in graduate school, Brian interned in the Investment Management Division of Goldman Sachs, and was an early consultant to Sirtris Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: SIRT) and Magen Biosciences. Brian is also an angel investor in several startup companies.
